बिना गुरु की कृपा पाये, नहीं जीवन उधारा है॥टेक॥
फँसी श्रुति आइ यम फाँसी, अयन सुधि आपनी नाशी,
भई भव सोग की वासी, कठिन जहँ ते उधारा है॥१॥
गुरु निज भेद बतलावैं, सुरत को राह दरसावैं,
जीव-हित आपही आवैं, सुरत को आइ तारा है॥२॥
गुरू हितु हैं गुरू पितु हैं, गुरू ही जीव के मितु हैं,
गुरु सम कोइ नहिं दूजा, जो जीवों को उधारा है॥३॥
गुरू की नित्त कर पूजा, जगत इन सम नहीं दूजा,
'मेँहीँ' को आन नहिं सूझा, फकत गुरु ही अधारा है॥४॥

গুরূ কী নিত্ত কর পূজা, জগত ইন সম নহীং দূজা,
'মেঁহীঁ' কো আন নহিং সূঝা, ফকত গুরু হী অধারা হৈ ||৪||
